Escape the hustle and bustle of the city with our premium Fayoum Day Trip from Cairo. Your journey begins with a comfortable early morning pickup, heading towards one of Egypt’s oldest and most beautiful oases.
Our first stop is the charming Tunis Village, famous for its artistic soul and vibrant greenery. You will enjoy a traditional Egyptian breakfast overlooking the serene Lake Qarun. After breakfast, we will take a walking tour through the village’s famous pottery workshops, where you can see local artisans at work and perhaps pick up a unique handmade souvenir.
4×4 Safari to Wadi El-Hitan (Whale Valley) The real adventure starts as we hop into our professional 4×4 Land Cruisers to head deep into the desert. Our destination is Wadi El-Hitan, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, you will explore the Fossils Museum and see prehistoric whale skeletons that are millions of years old, telling the story of the Earth’s evolution in an open-air museum.
Next, we drive through the majestic dunes to reach the hidden Magic Lake. This stunning lake changes its colors depending on the sunlight. It is the perfect spot for an adrenaline-pumping sandboarding session down the high golden dunes. We will also visit El Modawara Mountain, offering a panoramic view of the entire desert and the lakes below.
No trip to Fayoum is complete without visiting the Wadi El-Rayan waterfalls, the only natural waterfalls in Egypt. We will end our day with a delicious Bedouin-style dinner served in the heart of the desert, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before we drive you safely Fayoum Day Trip from Cairo back to Cairo in the evening.
